Safe Sleep

Please visit The Lullaby Trust site for everything you need to know about safe sleeping to reduce the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

This is a serious topic that many parents worry about. When you are waiting for your baby's arrival, make sure you have planned where your baby will sleep, and ensure this is suitable according to the safe sleep guidance from the Lullaby Trust.

Some new parents struggle to get their baby to sleep separately in a crib and have a baby that only wants to sleep on a caregiver. See our page on bedsharing.

It may also be helpful to check out our blog on newborn sleep to learn why night wakings are important for a baby's safety.
